The latest rumour is that Behaviour Support in NSW is going to be 'school based' rather than 'area based' after claims that a 'school based' trial has been a success. One thing that the bean counters have missed is that the school based behaviour support teachers in the trial were themselves supported by the same 'area based' behaviour support teams the Government is seeking to abolish.
Isn't this really about cutting costs and reducing travel allowances for itinerant behaviour support teachers?
